Okay, so I have a logo now.
And it has a controller on it..
And after a while I realize…
“Fuck, I’m the goddamn gamer in the house.”
I mean, I play video games a lot more than anyone else. Hell, I breathe video games. I contiunally tell my dad shit about the new FF, I told him countless shit I found out about KH2…

Meh.
I find it all kinda funny considering the fact my dad’s the one who got me playing video games and now I’m a bigger gamer than him.
Every time my Uncle got a new video game I’d play it, (With the exception of Rygar - that game has a fixed camera. I fucking HATE fixed cameras. The only reason I played Devil May Cry is because Dante’s hot, (and shooting the guns WAS fun.), not because of THE FUCKING FIXED CAMERAS.)

Well, anyway. I’ve decided that I’ll start doing game reviews. Not often, mind you. Just sometimes when I feel like it.

And for today, here’s a short review on Dark Cloud.

SHORT REVIEW TIME!:
First off.
I never finished the game.
But…why Selphie?! You ask.

Because, after a while the game gets tedious.
It has a very good premise! Don’t get me wrong.

The basis of the story is that there’s a dark Genie blah blah, (obviously he wants to destroy the world - DUH.) and so the King of the world seals everyone and everything into this thing called “Atla.”

And that’s where our story begins, sorta.
The main dude, I don’t really give a shit what his name is, wakes up and is all, “WTFz.” (…Okay, I made it up - the dude never talks. Although his facial expression, expresses, “WTFZZZ!!???”)
You head down into the dungeons,
Now.
I hate the dungeons.
You’ll see why later.

The King dude is down there and states to MD, that he has to unseal all the Atla and restore the worlds.
WHY THE KING CANNOT DO THIS HIMSELF, I DO NOT KNOW. Or remeber. Either one.

And this, is where the game fails.
You spend a good portion of the time, in the dungeons. You fight. You get Atla. You return to surface, when you run out of water and need to heal and such. You position houses/people/ect, and heal yourself.
YOU GO BACK DOWN TO THE DUNGEON AND FIGHT SOMEMORE.
It’s tedious as fuck. It gets boring. Yea, sure there are duels, and boss fights. But by the time you get to a boss, you’re tired as hell of fighting.
And jesus, is it just me, or are the bosses ENTIRELY TOO HARD? It took me a million years just to defeat the first boss! (Called “Dran” or some shiat.)
Yea. So.
I got bored. The premise is there, and it’s good.
It’s just so boring.
Oh, and there’s NO voices. Despite the fact it’s a PS2 game…>.>
Rather annoying.
Dark Cloud gets a 2/5.
